“Character” grade allows for all the features in the wood. After establishing the Select grade, the remaining pieces are milled from the same pile of lumber, and sold for a discounted price. It is only available to us on an accumulation basis and not on an order-driven basis. “Yellow” Birch and “Red” Birch are from the same tree and you get both in this grade. This solid prefinished wood flooring is milled with microbevels and a smooth surface.
