The Natural Grade of Red Oak has a strong grain pattern and allows for mineral streaks and color variation. Red Oak is the most popular hardwood and at one time was over 90% of all wood flooring in America. It undergoes a medium degree of color change as it ages with a slight ambering of the pinkish tan brown color over time. This flooring is milled with a smooth surface.
