Morado (also called Bolivian Rosewood) is one of the world’s most exotic woods. Most true Rosewoods are either restricted or banned completely from international trade, due to a history of over-harvesting. This prefinished flooring comes to us from South America’s premier environmentally-certified flooring mill, in an engineered format which makes better use of the resource (limiting the Morado to the top layer, where it counts). Milled with a smooth surface, this flooring is suitable for above-grade and below-grade installations, and additionally over water-based radiant heat systems. It can be nailed, glued or floated. The finish carries a limited 25-year residential warranty.
