Description
This Beech flooring is part of Planet Hardwood’s “First Growth” collection. Unlike most recycled wood today, this production is from hand-hewn barn beams. These beams were crafted before motors were invented, from trees that were saplings in the 15th century. Similar to dinosaur bones, this precious resource can only be discovered, not created. It is available only as an unfinished solid random-width floor, kiln-dried and end-matched. All the history of this ancient wood is represented in this production … including growth rings packed so tightly together that they can barely be counted!
