This is one of the only prefinished authentic reclaimed Heart Pine floors on the market today. Pinus palustrus once occupied nearly 100 million acres, but by the 1930’s most of it was gone. Made from trees that were standing when the Pilgrims landed, this flooring allows for all of the history … including knots, nail holes, stress cracks and puttied gouges. It’s suitable for above and below grade installations and additionally over water-based radiant heat systems. It can be nailed, glued or floated. The finish wear-through warranty is 25 years for residential applications. The structural warranty is lifetime.
